Hello, I have made this site to hold and display information on my book I am writing, Protection. I would have gotten the site Http://www.protection.com but it was already understandably taken. Though my book does not take place in Trehuldor.
It is generally true that defenders have an advantage over attackers. Battles commonly focus on sieges of important cities, allowing defenders to strengthen their position. They had the ability to make preparations for the battle to protect themselves from the enemy while making the enemy vulnerable, for example preparing positions such as trenches and fortifications or in more recent times laying obstacles such as traps.
